Dunge (Comedy Pilot) — Undead warlock Cliff Skullman struggles to maintain his small business – a multi-purpose "abusement park" for heroes to test their mettle – because, it turns out, the true business of evil is less killing Heroes, more managing supply chains, HR sensitivity training, and social justice goons.
Remains (Drama Pilot) — A visionary prospector in the 1870s American West leverages a troubled family in a succession dispute to make a fortune off of the mysterious "new gold" that fills their barren farm: dinosaur bones.
Biography
Danny Cummins is a writer/barista from Rockville, Maryland. He attended the University of Iowa, where he played five different intramural sports and won nearly ten percent of all his matches. Along the way he double-majored in English/Creative Writing and Screenwriting, and became a Phi Beta Kappa scholar. Danny enjoys writing earnest, character-driven dramedies, but harbors a guilty pleasure for food writing, science fiction, and horror. At the heart of his writing is the belief that life is about finding the comfort in discomfort and sharing it with each other. He once made English actor John Cleese chuckle during a conversation about the bathroom door code. Danny may be your favorite writer's favorite barista. Probably not, but he very well may be. He's just excited to be here.
