Biography

Grace Critchfield was born and raised in Washington, DC, took a gap year in Santa Fe, New Mexico, then went to college in Western Massachusetts. After graduating, she moved to New York City where she spent a decade writing a little and working A LOT - mostly as a script coordinator/writer’s assistant. A few months after hitting the ten-year mark, she was more than ready for LA’s greener pastures and a chance to focus on her own work. She will be graduating UCLA with 3 Comedy Pilots, 3 Drama Pilots, 2 Feature Scripts, and a Graduate Certificate of Writing Pedagogy. Though her work spans a variety of genres, it tends to be tonally light, if thematically dark. She especially loves murder mysteries, witchy women, and comedies about death, grief, and mental health. Her dream is to be a writer in a room where she can collaborate with cool creatives to make television that is both meaningful and entertaining.
