The Roommates (Comedy Pilot) — A spoiled ex-rich girl and an uptight workaholic guy are forced to live together in a shared apartment for their own reasons. Although they can’t stand each other, that still doesn’t stop them from “Going Bump in the Night."
Biography
Kelsey Gilmore was born and raised in Tallahassee, Florida. Contrary to popular belief, she does not have a pet alligator and has yet to see a crocodile in her backyard. She's from NORTH Florida… that’s a South Florida thing. North Florida gets the southern accent, and South Florida gets Jurassic Park.
In 2022, she proudly graduated from the #1 Public Historically Black University, Florida A&M University (Go Rattlers!), with dual degrees in Theatre and Public Relations. Now, she's just a southern girl out west at UCLA, earning her Master’s in Film and Television with a concentration in screenwriting. She fondly remembers when she first arrived in Los Angeles and saw that gas was $5.96. She almost booked her return flight then and there. But alas, here she is.
Her favorite genre to write is Comedy because she genuinely believes a good laugh can fix a bad day. So let’s all watch TV, eat some good food, and have a good laugh.
